Joao Paulo is a urban troublemaker, focused on housing and mobility justice, building long-term resilience and anti-displacement policy, and championing equitable, inclusive system design. Alongside his work as the co-director for Housing and Community Development at the Austin Justice Coalition, he currently serves on the city’s Planning Commission, the Citizens Police Review Commission, and the leadership of ‘Planning Our Communities.’
